Donkey anti-rabies vaccine and Health Checkup Camp at Pavagadh Makhakali Mata Hill
In 2019, during the covid pandemic, the whole India was in lockdown, We team 4Leg Rescue Foundation had arranged donkey health checkup camps at Pavagadh Hills. We choose lockdown time because during this time there we no rush of visitors and donkeys, and their owners were also available where we can counsel owners on how to take care of their animals, and donkeys can also get proper time to get recovered.
There were almost more than 350 donkeys were there. We did anti rabbis vaccination and checked for their health. We had also given deworming dose to each donkey. It took almost 2 days to complete this project.
The aim of this project was to make donkeys pain-free and diseases free. Pavagadh is a famous Mahakali Mata temple on a hill where donkeys are used to transport luggage from the village to the Pavagadh hills.
